Let’s Blether

The Let’s Blether Box was inspired by Gaby Williamson and her little sister after the girls lost their father to cancer during Lockdown.  The ‘Let’s Blether Box’ is for Primary aged children who have undergone a recent bereavement and need further help to support their grief.

The boxes contain a range of items to support children and their parent or carer to use at home and include journals, seeds to plant flowers in memory, a book to help understand grief, a memory jar, activity sheets, cards, reversible emotion octopus toy and memory badge pack.  For parents and carers included is a pack of further guidance on how to use the box along with a directory of signposts for further information.

To request a box, please send an email to the key member of staff at your school along with any relevant information.

This project is funded by Community Mental Health Supports and Services and we hope that this resource will help a child shape their understanding of grief in their time of need.
