Let’s Talk South Ayrshire
The Let’s Talk programme by SAMH and funded by the Co-op is for children and young people (10-18 years of age), school staff, parents & carers and wider community groups where applicable.
Let’s Talk aims to raise awareness around mental health, tackling stigma as well as better equipping individuals with the tools and coping mechanisms to support their own and others’ mental wellbeing.
Let’s Talk Outcomes:
- Participants have an increased understanding of their own and other’s mental health and wellbeing and know when to seek help.
- Participants feel more confident speaking about mental health and wellbeing, thus normalising mental health conversations, reducing stigma and discrimination.
- Work through a series of interactive workshops, training and wellbeing activities based around the ‘5 ways to better wellbeing’.
SAMH offer FREE 90 minute workshops and information sessions (online or face to face) to children, young people, school/youth work, staff and parents/carers.
